Tariq Lamptey, a defender for Brighton, is happy to represent the Black Stars.

Former England youth international Lamptey made a commitment to Ghana earlier this year, and the two of them have already trained together.

The 21-year-old is in France getting ready for Friday’s international exhibition match between Ghana and five-time world champions Brazil.

“Everyone has been kind and hospitable. It has been wonderful. I’m very happy to be here, and I’m simply working hard in the gym to give the squad the best performance I can,” Lamptey added.

Lamptey stated, “I’m looking forward to the game on Friday,” when asked about the contest. We are all well prepared for this game and hope to be ready on Friday.

It is anticipated that the former Chelsea star would feature for the Black Stars against the South Americans.

After Brazil, Ghana will play Nicaragua in a second friendly in Spain.

The Black Stars, who have already qualified for the World Cup, saw these friendlies as the ideal practice matches to hone their strategies and build team chemistry before their challenging group matches against Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
